Friends, Food, and Bristol

Ok im finally bak to the hustle and bustle of east london...spent my whole weekend in Bristol visiting Bofeng and his frens who came down to london last year...managed to tour the city centre(Bofengs a good tour guide)...shud haf tipped him...hahaha...Qiyin and her friend came down from Manchester as well...was kinda like old times...conversation was brilliant...the rest of my time there was filled with eating a fusion of jap and chinese food which included spicy vegeterian noodles at Wagamama, fantastic roast duck at Fuchsia and overloading myself with Smirnoff at Janet's house...felt quite bad cos i puked all over her back yard...but nothing compared to the rest...lol...and on the last nite Pinky, Ava, and Edmund cooked dinner fer us...it was simple but the best homecooked chinese meal i had since i came to UK...we had lotus soup!..i hadnt had soup that good fer ages!...now i kinda wish i had chinese gals living at my hall to cook fer us...lol

Oh yeah, managed to visit a few 300 yr old museums and the Bristol Cathedral...seems Uni West of England(Bofeng's Uni) has their Law Convo there...the cathedral dates bak to the 12th century...awesome venue!...UWE's campus is really dead...but their bar is pretty darn cool cuz they have huge lcd screens which show football matches....

All in all i had a relaxing time...its good to move away from the mad rush of london once in awhile...i didnt get to meet up with everyone i planned to but theres always next time...a return tcket is onli 4 pound...by the way, i swear the bus driver was half asleep on the way to Bristol, cos the bus was swaying from left to right on the motorway...but everything turned out just fine...will definately go back again....for now i gotta get ready fer Edwin...he'll be in london this thursday...hopefully he remembers the cdr's....I NEED EMPTY CD'S !!...ive got 1 gig left on my laptop...courtesy of too many movie downloads...ahhaa....its gona be anoder great weekend!!...cheers!!
