Blowing My Birthday Bubbles
Ok i feel like Andy McNab jotting crucial notes that will later be tools to help me complete my objective....SURVIVAL !...but unlike Andy, im not fighting in the Gulf War neither am I stuck in the Iraqi desert deep behind enemy lines...im simply an unobscure individual experiencing the vivid moments that everything with more than 2 cells experience...LIFE!...
So much for my re-blogging introduction...its been "i dono how long" since my last posting...i think this is the longest absence so far....seems alot has happened since then...i nearly drowned trying to read my friends blogs... there were just so many unread posts!...ive been so out of touch...lol....anyways ive decided to read every one of their postings even if my eyes drop out...its amazing how we can read and somehow feel their experiences...that rocks man!...
Ok back to my earthly pilgrimage...its no secret that i celebrated my 22nd birthday recently....every birthday most Chinese people gripe and moan saying "GNOR LOU LAR"(means "Im getting old" in Cantonese dialect)...NOT ME !...in fact ive never felt better in my life!...sure im physically older than last year, but ive loved everyday i get to wake up and experience life...i appreciate the fact i have a roof over my head, a bed to sleep on and the full physical ability to work, study, excercise, and importantly a loving family...in fact im just glad i have all fingers and toes!...ok that was over dramatic...but basically im just thankful to God for another year and another chance for me to complete my pilgrimage on earth with pride and dignity...
My birthday was nothing short of brilliant...from sunrise to sunset, i had a smashing day...lets see...got countless greetings thru me mobile, mail, friendster, blogspot, MSN, Skype(THANKS GUYS!)...on Sunday i had a superb church service at The Threatre Royal(Hillsong UK)...an awesome dinner followed by drinks at Brewmaster, Leicester Square....all on me mate Ernie...after drinks the Malaysians at UEL held a party fer me at the halls...they got me a massive cake and even more food...partied so hard and loud that some disgruntled tenants called security...we sent them back with a shots of vodka and promised to be quieter....quiet? YEAH RIGHT!...5 mins later and we were back to our monkey moves....wat a blast!...i do haf pics and videos but i dont think im gona post any here....ahahaha...
But the thing that meant most to me were the greetings from friends that i hadnt spoken to in years...i had actually forgotten about them!...ironically they hadnt...its friends like these that really make my day...a simple sentence and a minute or two is all thats needed...but sometimes we just couldnt be bothered...even when we spent our childhood with them, shared lunch with them, sat next to them in class...thank God for friends who really care and make the effort to keep in touch!...
So u see, i had a relatively simple but nonetheless awesome birthday...wats more, the thought of graduating in summer is even better!...i'll be out of this ghetto and back in my beloved capital KUALA LUMPUR!!...its really something for me to look forward to...so many things i wana do back home....just 3 months aways...cheers!

Lean On Me
For the victims of the second asian earthquake, for those fighting pointless wars, and for those fighting personal battles...take comfort that you do have friends on earth and most importantly in heaven...some lyrics we should say to our friends...God Bless
Sometimes in our lives,
We all have pain,
We all have sorrow,
But if we are wise,
We know that there's always tomorrow.
CHORUS
Lean on me,
When you're not strong,
And I'll be your friend,
I'll help you carry on,
For it won't be long,
'till I'm gonna need,
Somebody to lean on.
Please swallow your pride,
If I have things,
You need to borrow,
For no one can feel,
Those of your needs,
That you won't let show.
You just call on me brother
When you need a hand,
We all need somebody to lean on,
I just might have a problem,
That you'll understand,
We all need somebody to lean on.
CHORUS
You just call on me brother
When you need a hand,
We all need somebody to lean on,
I just might have a problem,
That you'll understand,
We all need somebody to lean on.
If there is a load
You have to bear,
That you can't carry,
I'm right up the road,
I'll share your load,
If you just call me.
Call me (14 x's)
if u need a friend
call me
call me
if u need a friend
call me
call me
if u need me call me
(Al Green)
Sometimes in our lives,
We all have pain,
We all have sorrow,
But if we are wise,
We know that there's always tomorrow.
CHORUS
Lean on me,
